The summer holidays are behind you, but you still feel like getting away from it all. What could be better than a weekend away in a comfortable safari tent in autumn? That way, you can still fully enjoy the cosy, fresh autumn days before the weather gets really too cold for glamping!

The warm colours of the forests

In autumn, nature transforms into beautiful colours with golden, red and orange leaves. This makes it extra special to stay in nature and really enjoy the changing scenery, which usually does not last very long!

Extra cosy evenings

The cooler evenings are perfect for snuggling under a warm blanket and playing a game together. Or enjoy the fresh outdoor air on your veranda and keep warm with a cup of steaming chocolate milk or a glass of mulled wine.

Less crowds

Autumn is often quieter on campsites and in nature reserves, allowing you to enjoy the silence and nature more without the summer crowds. This also gives you a quicker chance of spotting a deer, for example!

Mushroom spotting and pine cone picking

Autumn is the season of mushrooms, and on a forest walk you can discover countless species, which is both fun and educational. In addition, you can search together for the most beautiful pine cone to take back to your tent.

Making a campfire

When the evenings get dark a little earlier, it is the ideal time to light a campfire and roast marshmallows. This always goes down well with the kids and makes for cosy moments in the crisp autumn air.
