Groen Geluk in Hekendorp is a small, friendly campsite next to characteristic farmhouse, overlooking a beautiful polder landscape in the middle of the Green Heaert, just on the border with Zuid-Holland. Gouda and Utrecht are easily accessible from the campsite. You can rent a safari tent at camping Bij Groen Geluk at Vodatent. At this campsite, it is possible to rent a 4-person tent or a 5-person tent.

The campsite is located on the grounds of the farm, which still has the appearance of rustic life. Here you can enjoy the outdoors with a beautiful view. The Hollandse Ijssel is nearby, here you can walk freely or go fishing, for the fisherman among us.

This farm campsite is small-scale and situated on the waterfront. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Free Wi-Fi is available and the sanitary building has been completely renovated in 2015 and is equipped with all modern-day conveniences.

Bicycle rental is possible on the campsite; therefore, you can enjoy the surroundings. Within a few minutes you will be in the center of Oudewater for a snack and a drink. In addition, De Vlist, De Reeuwijkse- and Nieuwkoopse plassen are highly recommended to visit by bike.

There is a lot to do around the campsite. There is a horse-riding centre, golf course and there is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool less than 10 minutes away. In addition, the nature here is beautiful to walk and cycle through. There are several forests, beaches and ponds nearby. The centre of Oudewater is only 5 minutes away from the campsite, here you can enjoy a snack and a drink, or perhaps a canal cruise with the boat 'De Geelbuik' on a sunny day.

There are many charming markets to visit in the area, such as the famous cheese market in Gouda, which takes place every Thursday morning at the market. It is a spectacular, historical and nostalgic scene.
