What does Le Camp de Florence have to offer?

There's always plenty to do at Camp de Florence, for young and old alike! So you can enjoy a heated swimming pool and recreational facilities for everyone. Enjoy the Jacuzzi or the sun on the terraces beside the pool while the children play on the water slide or have fun on the trampoline or bouncy castle. If the sun gets too hot you can always take a refreshing dip in the tropical pool. For the kids there is a kids club in July and August and there is plenty to do for all ages during the day and in the evening. Feel like going out for the day? There is plenty to do and see around Camp de Florence. La Romieu has been an important stopover on the ancient pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella for many centuries. This pretty village has a rich history and its church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. La Romieu is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France. There are still plenty of beautiful places to see in the area such as; Auch, Lavardens, Fleurance, Lectoure, Nérac, Montréal, Fourcès and Laressingle. Don't forget the many routes you can take from the campsite on foot, by bike, on horseback or by carriage. Nearby, you will find beautiful fields of sunflowers and the hills and valleys of the Gers.

For a nice active day out in the area, Camp de Florence is also the right place! Barbaste is home to the Accrobrance park at Cap Cauderoue. In the tops of the trees you can go on quite a hike. Monkey bridge, ropes and tyroliennes hang in the trees. It is also possible to go horse riding, paintballing, hand archery or canoeing here. At Gascogne you have Lake Saint-clair this is in a wooded area where the water is refreshed from natural springs. There is also a lovely beach, sports fields and picnic areas. For the real daredevils, you can also go go-karting on a big kart track in Layrac or to Walibi amusement park in Agen, where you can enjoy water slides to rollercoasters.
