Located in an exceptionally area, close to natural reserves such as the Streu and the Springendal with beautiful springs, streams and a varied scenery landscape. This neatly maintained campsite is renowned to be a special place for both young and old. Here children can play carefree while the parents enjoy all the splendour around them.
You will not get bored easily at this campsite. It is an ideal base for exploring its beautiful surroundings. The campsite is located in Mander, which is a part of the tranquil church village of Vasse. Also larger towns like Tubbergen and the historic art town of Ootmarsum are located nearby.
For those who enjoy cycling this campsite proves to be a true convenient location amidst the landscape parks of the north eastern part of Twente. Well known nature reserves like the Streu, the Mander heathers, the springen valley and the circles of Jannink are all located in close proximity of campsite dal van de Mosbeek. The recently constructed network of cycling and hiking paths leads you along these beautiful places this part of Twente has to offer. All terrain bike enthusiasts are also able to enjoy specially laid out challenging trails one of which starting just outside the campsite. All of this caused this area to have become a true paradise for all types of cyclists.
The well-known sight of this area is the watermill of Bels and Frans. Also worth visiting is the campsites backdoor neighbour the Manderveense Aardbei. This is an farm specialised in cultivating strawberries and other berries where you can enjoy plucking berries yourself or indulge in one of the many berry speciality’s the farm’s coffee bar has to offer. In addition the villages Mander and Vasse offer multiple great restaurants with cosy terraces. In addition you are also easily able to go out and about for a day in Germany since the campsite is located only one kilometre from the border.
This area is also very suited for hikers. Starting from the campsite an walking trail guides you throughout the neighbouring forest. here you can enjoy the surroundings and the tranquillity which nature provides.
This campsite puts a lot of effort in providing play facilities for children. Therefor this campsite acquires over a large variety of playground equipment. For instance, children can enjoy themselves on a giant air trampoline, zip-line, numerous slides, various sandboxes, seesaws, climbing track and believe it or not even more equipment! The campsite also has peddle go-karts free to use for children staying on the campsite and during hot summer days multiple swimming pools are spread out across the terrain so they can easily cool off.
The newest addition to the playground equipment is the sand and water playground. Here children can mess around with sand and water, which can be pumped up by hand by themselves, creating streams of water throughout the sandpit. They are encouraged to work together to harness the water by building small dams or trenches to create their very own building project. This equipment has proven to guarantee many hours of fun.
There are plenty of swimming pools, playgrounds, maize maze and a glow in the dark mini golf within cycling distance. If you don’t mind a short drive theme park Slagharen and the Nordhorn Zoo are both reachable within a 30 minutes. These parks have been well attended for years and successfully provides an outing suited for young and old. Also reachable within 30 minutes by car are the authentic cities of Enschede and Oldenzaal.
