Within half an hour you can already be at the coast, at the Ijsselmeer or classic Dutch places such as Alkmaar, Amsterdam or Volendam. It is a beautiful watery holiday park, where you can relax.
What to do at EuroParcs De Rijp
For people who enjoy relaxation, on or along the water, this is the ideal holiday park! With an indoor and outdoor pool, the real water lovers can have their fun. There are also plenty of options for people who prefer to go fishing or boating for a day. For the children there is a very nice animation team that organizes many activities. This way you can take a moment of rest while the children are kept busy. If you prefer to keep yourself busy, you can always hit a ball on one of the tennis courts. There are also other sports and playing fields with plenty to do. After such a busy day it is of course nice to have a bite to eat and drink in the restaurant or snack bar.
Historic environment of EuroParcs De Rijp
In the vicinity of the holiday park there really is something for everyone! Historic sites such as the Zaanse Schans, the Beemster, the village of De Rijp and the fourteen monumental Schermer windmills are definitely worth a visit. Furthermore, it is also ideal to stay at this holiday park if you want to visit Amsterdam in several days. A day in Alkmaar with its cheese market in the summer is of course very pleasant. Fortunately, if you prefer to get a breath of fresh air on the west coast of North Holland, you don't have to drive far!
