For those enjoying hiking rather than cycling there are also many possibilities at Campsite Emmen. With the Pieterpad running 498 kilometres from Tilburg to Groningen. The Pieterpad was designed by Toos Goorhuis-Tjalsma and Bertje Jens. The two friends loved to walk and this mutual interest resulted the Pieterpad in 1983.
