Looking for a fun campsite in France? Campsite la Bucherie is an experience. A way from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life and you will become part of piece of unspoilt nature. You can rent a safari tent at Campsite la Bucherie at Vodatent.

In the heart of the Parc Régional Limousine Perigord, at the border of the Dordogne and the Haute Vienne. Here you can discover all the cultural, historical and culinary possibilities that these two French departments have to offer.

On this car-free campsite, our safari tents are comfortably located together on one camping pitch. In the early and late season, you can quickly get in touch with your fellow campers. In the centre of the camping field is a stone barbecue for common use.

There is daily fresh bread for sale and at the small bistro, the food is delicious. You can also have a nice drink on the cosy terrace where the fire pot is regularly fired to roast marshmallows. The children can play to their heart's content. On the centrally located playground with various playground equipment, building huts in the forest or on the large field where the bouncy castle is located and they can practice archery. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are connected to solar collectors.

Campsite la Bucherie has been situated for 20 years among forests, farmland and small lakes. The perfect location to relax and enjoy an unforgettable holiday with your family. From the campsite, you can walk the most beautiful hiking trails and the large swimming lake is only 1 km away. If you would like to visit the hustle and bustle, there are three major cities just an hour's drive away. In Brantôme, the Venice of the Périgord, you can make beautiful canoe trips and then stroll through the medieval streets, whilst looking for a cosy terrace. Although the caves of Villars are not as big as the caves in the more southern Dordogne, they are well worth a visit.

The Dutch owners started Campsite la Bucherie 20 years ago and know all the ins and outs of both the campsite and its surroundings. They are ready to make you part of this beautiful piece of France!
