Coronavirus and my stay at Vodatent
At Vodatent we, together with our campsites, do everything we can to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We keep a close eye on the situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and follow the recommendations of the authorities.
If you have booked a stay and you have not heard from us, this means that the campsite is open and you can and can stay at the campsite.
If a campsite closes during a period when you have booked a stay, we will contact you to rebook your stay to another period or location. You can also get a voucher that you can use to rebook. With this voucher you can book until 1-1-2022.

Is it safe at the campsite?
Campsites take measures so that you can stay safely on the campsite. If you are curious about the measures taken by the campsite where you have booked, it is best to contact this campsite directly. Guests and staff who have a cold, cough, sore throat or fever are asked to stay at home.
What if my reservation cannot go through due to the closure of the campsite?
If a campsite is forced to close due to the Corona virus, we will contact you to discuss the possibilities. We are looking at an alternative campsite or period during which the holiday can continue, if this does not work, you will receive a voucher from us with which you can still reserve a stay at one of our campsites at a later time. With this voucher you can book a new stay at Vodatent until 1-1-2022.
I am ill, can my holiday continue?
The authorities recommend staying at home in case of a cold, cough, sore throat or fever. If you have these complaints, stay at home. Even if you think your complaints are not too bad. If you have cancellation insurance, contact your insurance company to find out if these cancellation costs are reimbursed by the insurance company.
I work in healthcare and have been asked not to travel abroad, what now?
We realize that healthcare workers are very important now. We are happy to think along with you, for example to see if you can rebook to a later period or another campsite. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request a different date for your stay and / or another campsite where you would like to stay. Then we can see what the options are.
Can I rebook for free
Yes, that's possible! If you book directly with Vodatent, you may change your stay once without giving reasons up to 14 days before departure. This may also go to another location or even to next year.
If you choose to stay in a period that is more expensive, you will pay the difference. If you choose to stay in a period that is cheaper, you are not entitled to a refund.
- I want to cancel, what do I still have to pay?
If you have booked a holiday you can always cancel it. Vodatent uses the RECRON cancellation conditions whereby you pay part of the travel sum when canceling. These costs are:
· In case of cancellation more than three months before the commencement date, 15% of the agreed price
- · In case of cancellation within three to two months before the commencement date, 50% of the agreed price
- · In case of cancellation within two to one month before the commencement date, 75% of the agreed price
- · In case of cancellation one month before the commencement date, 90% of the agreed price
- · In case of cancellation on the day of the commencement date, 100% of the agreed price.
- · If you have cancellation insurance and you have a valid reason for the insurance, you can submit the cancellation invoice to the insurance.
