Vodatent hecht veel waarde aan de bescherming van jouw persoonsgegevens. In deze privacyverklaring willen we heldere en transparante informatie geven over hoe wij omgaan met jouw persoonsgegevens. Wij doen er alles aan om jouw privacy te waarborgen en gaan daarom zorgvuldig om met persoonsgegevens. 

Vodatent houdt zich in alle gevallen aan de toepasselijke wet- en regelgeving, waaronder de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG). Dit brengt met zich mee dat wij in ieder geval:

Vodatent values your privacy

Vodatent is committed to protecting your personal data. In this privacy statement, we want to provide clear and transparent information on how we handle your personal data. We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. Vodatent observes the applicable laws and regulations in all cases, including the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). This entails that we will in any case:

Process your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which it was provided, these purposes and types of personal data are described in this privacy statement;
Limit the processing of your personal data to only those data that are minimally necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
Asking your explicit consent if we need it for processing your personal data;
Have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your personal data;
Do not pass on personal data to other parties, unless this is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were provided;
To be aware of your rights regarding personal data, to make you aware of them and to respect them.

As Vodatent, we are responsible for processing your personal data. If, after reading our privacy statement, or in a more general sense, you have any questions about this or wish to contact us, you can do so via our contact page or the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Processing of personal data of customers and suppliers

Personal data of customers and suppliers are processed by Vodatent for the following purposes:

  • Administrative purposes;
  • Processing bookings and all communication about them;
  • Maintaining (business) contacts.

The basis for processing these personal data is the execution of an agreement. For the above purposes, Vodatent may ask you for the following personal data:

  • Name and address details;
  • (Business) Telephone number;
  • (Business) E-mail address;
  • Gender;
  • Date of birth;
  • Company name and position.

Your personal data will be stored by Vodatent for the aforementioned processing for a period of 5 years for correspondence after booking (after sales), handling complaints, handling repeat bookings and maintaining (business) contacts. Also, your personal data required for financial administration will be kept for a maximum of 7 years.

Processing of personal data of website visitors & cookie policy

In principle, you can visit the Vodatent website without providing any personal data to us, provided you do not send any personal data via the forms on the website. However, we do collect anonymous statistics on your surfing behaviour on our website with every visit in order to improve it. Based on this data, we cannot identify you as an individual. We process this data with Google Analytics and Hotjar, with whom we have a processing agreement. Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small information files that we store on your device. There are 3 types of cookies used by the Vodatent website:

  • Functional cookies are used to enable you to set your preferences and store your login details.
  • Analytical cookies are used to be able to analyse anonymised surfing behaviour on the Vodatent website using Google Analytics and Hotjar. In this process, your IP address is anonymised.
  • Marketing cookies are used to show you personalised ads on other websites and to enable you to share information on the Vodatent website with social media websites. We ask your permission to place these cookies via a cookie notification.

Personal details that you fill in via web forms are processed by Vodatent for the purpose of dealing with questions about Vodatent's services. The basis for processing this personal data is a legitimate interest. Vodatent is of the opinion that we are much better able to help you with your questions and bookings if we can process a limited number of basic personal data to do so. We consider dealing with your queries as one of our main daily business activities, but in connection with your privacy, we try in principle to keep the amount of personal data to a minimum. For the above purpose, Vodatent may request the following personal data from you via the web forms:

  • Name;
  • (Business) Telephone number;
  • (Business) E-mail address;

Your personal data will be stored by Vodatent for the aforementioned processing for the period of 5 years for correspondence during the booking process and maintaining (business) contacts.

Processing of personal data of newsletter subscribers

Personal data of newsletter subscribers are processed by Vodatent for the purpose of sending fortnightly e-mail newsletters. The basis for this personal data is your consent given during the subscription process. For the above purpose, Vodatent may ask for your e-mail address. Your personal data will be stored by Vodatent for the above-mentioned processing for the period you subscribe to our newsletter.

Provision to third parties

We may provide the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the purposes described above. For example, we use third parties for:

  • Providing ICT solutions, customer and relationship management;
  • Marketing purposes;
  • Taking care of the (financial) administration;
  • Providing newsletters.

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement. Naturally, we make the necessary agreements with these parties (processors) to guarantee the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the data you provide to other parties, unless required and permitted by law. We currently provide your data to the following third parties with your consent or another legal basis:

  • Campsites and suppliers;
  • Our administrative office;
  • AENC Group;
  • Google;
  • Impactful Online Marketing;
  • Interbox Internet;
  • MailChimp;
  • Microsoft / Bing;

Minors

We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) if written consent has been given by the parent, guardian or legal representative.

Security of personal data

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unlawful use, for example, we have taken the following measures;

  • All persons who may have access to your data on behalf of Vodatent are bound to secrecy.
  • We operate a username and password policy on all our systems;
  • We make backups of personal data in order to restore it in case of physical or technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our employees are informed about the importance of protecting personal data.

Rights regarding your personal data

You have the right to inspect, correct or delete the personal data we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to have us transfer the data you have provided to us to yourself or on your behalf directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests. If we may process your personal data on the basis of your consent to do so, you always have the right to withdraw this consent.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, please contact us immediately. If we cannot work it out with you, we will of course find this very annoying. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Authority for Personal Data, which is the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection in the Netherlands.
