What to do at Ballum Camping?
The campsite has much more to offer than all the beautiful nature around you! For the (small) children there is a playground with a sandbox, slide, swings, climbing wall and bouncy castle. There is also a table football game and a table tennis table that can be used. The children can also use bicycles, go-karts and go-karts. On the field where the dog play area is, you can enjoy playing on the grass. There are football goals, a basketball basket, you can fly a kite. Pit-pat and trick-pin mini golf can be played for a fee. After a fun day you can enjoy a glass of wine. You can already order a delicious pizza at the kiosk, so you don't have to cook later. You also don't have to worry about getting cold. There is a heater in the tent. This is (along with the power consumption) included in the rental price.
Surroundings of Ballum Campsite!
You can enjoy cycling in the area or walking on the many hiking trails that start directly from the campsite. You can walk for hours through the farmlands and along the Wadden Sea without meeting anyone, even in high season. Experience the long days in the summer, enjoy the beautiful sunset, watch the many stars at night that you can see in the dark. Do you want to take a cultural trip? Then visit Ribe, Tønder, Møgeltønder or Løgumkloster, a Viking or art museum or the visitor center of the National Park. And don't forget: Legoland. Or drive to the Wadden Island of Mandø and admire the many birds and the seal colony. In the spring and autumn you can see the fantastic natural phenomenon 'sort sol'. Do you prefer sporty activities? There are several golf courses and swimming pools in the area, you can fish in the Brede Å, (kite) surfing, sand yachting, horseback riding, hiking and cycling on the Wadden island of Rømø with the widest sandy beach in Europe, the beach is also accessible by car!
