Our safari tents are standard equipped with pillows and duvets. At most campsites it is possible to book a bed linen package. At some campsites a bed linen package is mandatory or it is not possible to book this with your reservation. The prices and options vary per campsite and are indicated on the specific campsite page. 

If you bring your own bed linen, kindly check the size you are bringing. On the campsite page is indicated wihich size of duvet is present. 

At Vodatent, most campsites charge a rate of € 3,- per person per night. This surcharge is an all-in price for all additions costs on location such as, tourist tax, electricity, gas, environmental tax and possible other costs. At Vodatent you always know what the additional costs are and you will not be faced with surprises.

In the safari tents* is no running water. We always make sure there is a water point near the safari tents. In most of the tents, there is a jerry can with tap present. The inventory list is indicated per accommodation on the specific campsite page. In all our tents is electricity. There are lights in the sleeping cabins, the living area and under the awning. There is a possibility to charge your electric devices. Most locations have a 6 Amp power supply and are not suitable for electric devices that use a lot of power. Devices such as a hairdryer and electric barbecue are not suitable to use in the safari tents. 

* There is running water in the safari tents with sanitary facilitiets and the Sun lodges. 

Vodatent has chosen to keep as much space in the tent as possible. That is why most tents do not have a toilet or shower. We always make sure there is a sanitary building within walking distance from the tents. 

Would you rather have sanitary facilitities inside your accommodation, then the safari tents with sanitary facilities or the Sun lodge is something for you. 

Most accommodations of Vodatent do not have a TV. If there is one, it will be on the inventory list. The list can be found per accommodation on the specific camping page. 

Pets are allowed at many of our locations. The rate for a pet can be found on the specific campsite page. The costs will be paid upon arrival at the campsite.

At some campsites pets are not allowed, this can be found on the specific campsite page as well. 

At most of our locations it is possible the add a baby package (crib and high chair) during the booking procedure. The rate for this baby package can be found on the specific campsite page. The crib has an extra comfortable mattress. Kindly bring your own bed linen for this crib. 

Most campsites require a deposit of €50,- per accommodation. The exact deposit per campsite is indicated on the specific campsite page. After the tent has been checked and everything is complete and intact, the deposit will be refunded by the campsite. The withholding and refunding of the deposit will be done by the cooperating campsites. In case of any questions about the deposit, please contact the campsite directly. 

On the day of arrival, our safari tents are ready for you from 15:00. Checking in is possible at the reception. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to leave before 10:00. This way the campsite has enough time to clean the safari tents for the next guests. Because almost everyone has a navigation system nowadays, we do not offer directions. The address of the campsites can be found on the specific campsite page. 

If you book directly at Vodatent, you pay 30% of the rent within 10 days after making the reservation. You pay the remainder no later than 8 weeks before the arrival date. When the arrival date is within 8 weeks of the booking date, you will be asked to pay the entire amount. Surcharges and optional extras such as pets, bed linen packages etc. will be paid upon arrival at the campsite. In case you pay with a credit card, the money will be debited immediately at the time of payment. Vodatent works together with different booking partners. If you don'tbook directly via Vodatent, the conditions of the organization where you booked the accommodation apply.

Vodatent uses the Recron conditions.

• Wallet and passport or ID-card

When you book at Vodatent, we offer our guests flexibility with our rebooking guarantee. Up to two weeks before arrival it is possible to change your reservation in one of our accommodations. The conditions are as follows:

• Rebooking can be done free of charge without giving any reason
• Rebooking is possible up to two weeks before the arrival date
• The rebooking guarantee applies to the entire reservation
• Rebooking is only possible based on availability
• When the price of the booking is lower than the original booking, the difference will not be refunded
• When the price of the booking is higher than the original booking, the difference will be charged 
• You can use the rebooking guarantee once
• This service is only for guests who book directly via Vodatent. Reservations via our booking partners are excluded
• Vodatent reserves the right to change or stop this promotion at any time without prior notice
• Dutch laws apply to this service
• In cases not provided by these conditions, a decision will be taken by Vodatent

Coronavirus and my stay at Vodatent

At Vodatent we, together with our campsites, do everything we can to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We keep a close eye on the situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and follow the recommendations of the authorities.

If you have booked a stay and you have not heard from us, this means that the campsite is open and you can and can stay at the campsite.

If a campsite closes during a period when you have booked a stay, we will contact you to rebook your stay to another period or location. You can also get a voucher that you can use to rebook. With this voucher you can book until 1-1-2022.

Is it safe at the campsite?
Campsites take measures so that you can stay safely on the campsite. If you are curious about the measures taken by the campsite where you have booked, it is best to contact this campsite directly. Guests and staff who have a cold, cough, sore throat or fever are asked to stay at home.

What if my reservation cannot go through due to the closure of the campsite?
If a campsite is forced to close due to the Corona virus, we will contact you to discuss the possibilities. We are looking at an alternative campsite or period during which the holiday can continue, if this does not work, you will receive a voucher from us with which you can still reserve a stay at one of our campsites at a later time. With this voucher you can book a new stay at Vodatent until 1-1-2022.

I am ill, can my holiday continue?
The authorities recommend staying at home in case of a cold, cough, sore throat or fever. If you have these complaints, stay at home. Even if you think your complaints are not too bad. If you have cancellation insurance, contact your insurance company to find out if these cancellation costs are reimbursed by the insurance company.

I work in healthcare and have been asked not to travel abroad, what now?
We realize that healthcare workers are very important now. We are happy to think along with you, for example to see if you can rebook to a later period or another campsite. Please contact info@vodatent.com to request a different date for your stay and / or another campsite where you would like to stay. Then we can see what the options are.

Can I rebook for free
Yes, that's possible! If you book directly with Vodatent, you may change your stay once without giving reasons up to 14 days before departure. This may also go to another location or even to next year.

If you choose to stay in a period that is more expensive, you will pay the difference. If you choose to stay in a period that is cheaper, you are not entitled to a refund.

• I want to cancel, what do I still have to pay?
  If you have booked a holiday you can always cancel it. Vodatent uses the RECRON cancellation conditions whereby you pay part of the travel sum when canceling. These costs are:
  · In case of cancellation more than three months before the commencement date, 15% of the agreed price
• · In case of cancellation within three to two months before the commencement date, 50% of the agreed price
• · In case of cancellation within two to one month before the commencement date, 75% of the agreed price
• · In case of cancellation one month before the commencement date, 90% of the agreed price
• · In case of cancellation on the day of the commencement date, 100% of the agreed price.
• · If you have cancellation insurance and you have a valid reason for the insurance, you can submit the cancellation invoice to the insurance.
