A safari tent with private facilities also includes its own shower, toilet and washbasin inside the tent. This means you have all the comforts of home during your stay. In a tent without sanitary facilities, you can use the communal facilities on the campsite.

The advantage of these tents is that you don’t have to leave your tent at night to use the campsite's facilities. These tents may have either a movable or fixed kitchen, depending on the campsite. They do not have running water.
A safari tent with private bathroom includes your own toilet, shower, and washbasin. However, these are not located inside the tent itself, but in a separate building within walking distance. This building is usually just a few metres away, or right next to the tent. This type of tent also does not have running water. The type of kitchen – movable or fixed – may vary by campsite.
