Rent a safari tent in Sweden

When you wake up in the morning in a safari in Sweden, imagine yourself in a fairy tale like land. Beautiful clear lakes, mysterious forests and vast landscapes. Here and there you will find a farm with a typical Swedish red barn. A farm that can only be reached via a winding country road. An oasis of peace.

Sleep in a comfortable safari tent

Sweden's quiet and long nights will give you a good night's sleep. Especially if you spend the night in one of our safari tents. They are fully equipped with a mobile kitchen, two bedrooms with beds, a dining table with chairs and much more. You can leave a lot of things at home. That means carefree and safe travelling to Sweden with your family. Once you have arrived, your holiday starts. You do not have to put up a tent or caravan anymore.

The Allemansrätten

Scandinavia has the most beautiful nature reserves that you can imagine. How beautiful would it be if you could enjoy them indefinitely? Luckily, that is possible!

Through the Allemansrätten in Sweden you can enjoy nature everywhere. When you see a beautiful lake, feel free to take a dip. Or catch a fish and light a fire. Grab some nice forest fruits and have a picnic. Go to the places you like. Do the things you love!

It is also important that everyone can continue to enjoy nature. That is why the law of the Allemansrätten stipulates that you must have respect for nature. Therefore, you leave the place you visited the way you found it. Without disturbing nature or leaving waste behind.

Bears, wolfs and moose: meet the big five of Sweden

Sweden has its own big five, not the animals that we know from Africa. Through the enormous nature areas and national parks, you can spot a lot of wildlife. The big five of Sweden are: the bear, the wolf, the wolverine, the lynx and not to forget the moose.

Luckily the bears live a bit more to the north. Therefore, your storage cupboard is safe. If you do want to see the bears, you could go on and watch them under the guidance of a tour leader. This tour will last around 5-6 hours.

Moose can be seen in abundance in Småland. If you are lucky, you might run into one. Really lucky people can even spot porpoises when they take the ferry to Sweden.

Tips for your camping holiday in Sweden

  • Take different kind of clothes, so you can put on layers. Sweden has many different climates just like the Netherlands.
  • For those who really want to enjoy the nature reserves, take good walking shoes. You don't want blisters, do you?
  • If you do have blisters, it is useful to have a first aid kit. Preferably with tick tweezers.
  • With hikingnavigation you can find the way back without having a network.
  • There are many mosquitos in Sweden, but bigger and slower than in the Netherlands. Buy Swedish mosquito repellant that is stronger than the one in the Netherlands. Apply the repellant before it gets dark to avoid mosquito bites.
