What is there to do at Camping de la Vallée
Camping de la Vallée is a small/medium-sized cosy campsite located in the Belgian Ardennes. The campsite has a beautiful location in a valley right by the river Ourthe in Barveaux. Families, hikers and cyclists, anyone who loves relaxing in beautiful nature will find the right destination here. The campsite not only offers the perfect setting for rest and relaxation, but also regularly organises fun activities for both young and old.
For the little ones, there is a playground at the campsite where they can play. And when they have played enough, they can take a refreshing dip in the river Ourthe! For those who like to be active, the campsite offers opportunities to play table tennis, volleyball and football. Moreover, there is a bread service available, so you can enjoy delicious fresh sandwiches for breakfast in the morning. And in the afternoon you can relax in the sun on the campsite restaurant's summer terrace.
Surroundings of Camping de la Vallée
The surrounding area includes charming Durbuy, known as the smallest town in the world, and the lively tourist centre of La Roche. Are you a fan of cars? The picturesque Sy hosts an exciting annual car race which is not to be missed!
You can also visit the magical Han caves, the beautiful waterfalls of Coo and the impressive war museum of Bastogne, so there is plenty to discover in the area! And of course at Camping de la Vallée you are in the middle of nature, which means an abundance of walking and cycling routes, and for the more adventurous there is the possibility of kayaking in the nearby rivers. And for those who enjoy fishing, the river Ourthe offers a range of species such as pike, trout and perch (though with required fishing licence).
