The capital of the same name, San Marino, is on UNESCO's World Heritage List, and for good reason. The historic center of the Republic of San Marino is a monument in every way. The view from the fortress is incredible. From San Marino you have a magnificent view of the Riviera of Romagna on one side and the old Republic on the other. Not only is San Marino known for its unique landscape, monuments, museums and tourist spots, but it also has a lower tax system, making it extra fun to shop here!
