Visiting the Keukenhof to see tulips? This glamping accommodation is just a 10-minute drive away!

The Keukenhof is a world-famous flower park located in Lisse – a true spectacle with millions of blooming tulips in all kinds of colors and patterns! Additionally, the Bollenstreek, situated between Leiden and Haarlem, is the most iconic place to see tulip fields. Camping De Hof van Eeden is nestled between meadows, along windmills by the water. It’s the perfect starting point for various cycling routes through the Bollenstreek. Even better: The safari tents are just a 10-minute drive from the Keukenhof!

Tips for a successful tulip experience

  • Go early in the day: Tulip fields can get crowded, especially on weekends. Go early in the morning to enjoy in peace and quiet.
  • Use a bike: Many tulip areas have special bike routes. Rent a bike and enjoy the colorful fields in a relaxed way.
  • Respect the fields: The tulip fields are privately owned by farmers. Don't just walk into the fields and respect the flowers. Picking tulips is also strictly forbidden.
  • Visit a pick-your-own garden: Want to take tulips home with you? Visit a pick-your-own garden like the Tulpenpluktuin in the Bollenstreek or Tulpenland in Flevoland.

Whether you're a Dutch person or a tourist, the tulip season in the Netherlands is an unforgettable experience. Grab your camera, put on your hiking boots, and enjoy this colorful magic! 🌷
