Here you can go if you want to spend a day shopping or enjoying a terrace, and there are various museums to visit. Would you rather go into nature? Just 25 minutes from the campsite you are in the Lauwersmeer nature reserve. Here you will find Scottish Highlanders and bird watchers will love it! A day trip to Schiermonnikoog is also worthwhile. A ferry sails from Lauwersoog, after which you can discover Schiermonnikoog by bike. Within driving distance of the campsite you will also find villages such as Winsum and Warffum, which are nice to visit or do some shopping. You can also ask the reception for tips on the various outings in the area.

During the summer holidays, weekly children’s activities are organised, such as workshops, bubble football and splash competitions in the swimming pool. The kiosk has an indoor and outdoor terrace where you can enjoy ice cream, coffee or fries. Within walking distance is the outdoor swimming pool “De Breede”, with a large play and sunbathing area and an adjacent tennis court. A washing machine is available in the dishwashing area for a small fee, and the sanitary building has recently been renovated.
