With a covered bicycle shed, with charging point for electric bicycles, this campground is very suitable for cycling enthusiasts. In the vicinity of the campsite there are many bicycle paths and bicycle junctions. Need help planning a nice cycling route? The campground owners are happy to help! Unique natural areas such as the Waterloopbos, Kuinderbos and swamp area Rottige Meente are great for cycling from the campsite. 

The sanitary facilities at this campground are modern and spick and span. There is also a washing machine and centrifuge available. At the campsite there is a large playing field and several pieces of playground equipment. Forest and fishing water can be found in close proximity to the campground. 

Surroundings of Schotererf Minicamping

In the vicinity of the campsite is a lot of fun to experience. If you like wine, take a look at the Maronesse vineyard and winery in the Northeast Polder. Other fun trips include the world's largest steam pumping station in Lemmer, the Orchideeënhoeve in Luttelgeest or former Zuiderzee island of Schokland. The Zuiderzee towns of Lemmer, Kuinre and Blokzijl are also easy to reach by bike from this campground. Also Giethoorn, National Park Weerribben-Wieden, Urk and Heerenveen are within a 30 km radius from the campsite and are great fun to visit.

When you rent a safari tent at this mini campground you are only a half hour drive from Bataviastad where you can go for a fun day of shopping. Other nice towns you can drive to within half an hour include Sneek, Urk or the Hanseatic city of Kampen.
