The campsite is very centrally located, making it ideal as a starting point for many different excursions. As mentioned earlier, Camping Braunlage is located near Harz Nature Reserve. Here you can go hiking, cycling or even mountain biking. In the years when East and West Germany were separated, nature could go undisturbed in the 10 km wide buffer zone. Because no people came here for years, the nature here is beautiful. A visit here is therefore highly recommended. In this nature belt, meanwhile, many cycling and hiking trails have been created.
