Camping Catsop can best be described as a peaceful campsite where nature, space, enjoyment and experience take centre stage. The campsite is located in Elsloo, the second most beautiful village in the Netherlands. During your stay, you can enjoy plenty of peace and space without having to miss out on practical facilities. A washing machine, dryer and spin dryer are available. To maintain the peaceful atmosphere for both guests and pets, playing football on the campsite is not permitted. Even while on holiday, you can easily stay connected to the outside world. Thanks to several Wi-Fi points spread across the grounds, you can enjoy good, free Wi-Fi throughout the campsite. The campsite itself is car-free. You can park your car in the campsite’s car park, ensuring that the camping area remains nice and peaceful. Start your day with fresh bread rolls from the bread service or pick your own fruit from the standard fruit trees. In the pick-your-own garden, you will also find all kinds of goodies, including different types of tea, herbs, tomatoes and strawberries. Fancy a fun game? The campsite has two pétanque courts as well as a draughts and chess board. The balls and playing pieces can be borrowed from the campsite.

There is also plenty to discover beyond Camping Catsop. The Limburg countryside is perfect for walking, cycling, motorcycling and horse riding. If you prefer being on the water, you can go (canoe)ing on the Meuse. Upon arrival, you will receive a booklet containing various routes, making it easy to explore the surrounding area yourself. Looking for some extra relaxation? You can visit the thermal baths nearby. Food lovers will also feel right at home here, with various restaurants and cafés in the area where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. There are also several museums to visit for a cultural day out. A day trip to a nearby city is also a great option. Maastricht is just a 15-minute drive away, while the well-known German city of Aachen can be reached in around 30 minutes. In Valkenburg, you can head underground on an adventure. Here you will find numerous impressive marl caves, where you can learn more about the region’s fascinating underground world. An educational and impressive day out!
