Camping de Boomgaard is all about tranquility. At the campsite, all your worries disappear and you can relax. The safari tents offer comfort and lovely views. With such beautiful surroundings, you certainly won't get bored. Take a hike or bike through the area! Explore the River Maas with a kayak or sup. You can also waterski, wakeboard and funtub behind the boat. If you want to slow down, throw out your fishing rod or watch the large grazers on the Maas bank. When you return from your activity, you can relax again in the safari tent. You will be among the various cherry trees on the site and next to the vines of the award-winning Aldeneyck winery .The sanitary facilities are easily accessible from all places on the site. The campsite is right by the River Maas where you can take a long walk along it. 

Surroundings of Camping de Boomgaard 

The center is only a 10 minute bike ride from the campsite. Here you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat under the lime trees. Maaseik's historic market is perfect for taking in the history and admiring the old buildings. The oldest private pharmacy in Belgium can be found here, this is a must see if you are staying in the area. Behind the campsite is the Mynekomplas, a beautiful piece of nature where you can spot beavers at dusk. There are also several possibilities for water sports including renting a whisper boat. Is it raining and would you rather do something inside? Then you can go bowling, visit an indoor children's amusement park or a wellness center 2km from the campsite and last but not least wine tasting! Every Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., you can taste the Aldeneyck wines, which were awarded several times as the best Belgian wine, with delicious cheese and meat on the wine terrace or in the renovated wine bar. There are several restaurants nearby if you don't feel like cooking. A visit to the ''white town'' of Thorn or Maasmechelen Village outlet or Designer outlet Roermond are also nearby.
