Are you looking for cosiness and a small-scale campsite? Experience a wonderful holiday in Drenthe at Camping Emmen. The campsite has a spacious terrace with cafeteria, where you can enjoy a drink and a delicious snack, while the children play in the playground with air trampoline. Children can also explore the campsite on various playgrounds, which can be used free of charge. From mid-May, you can enjoy swimming in the heated outdoor pool. At the back of the campsite there is a fishing pond where you can fish or enjoy the aquatic life. In high season, the entertainment team organises fun activities such as crafts with (natural) materials, face painting, water games and much more.

Camping Emmen is approximately 20 minutes' drive from the town of Emmen. There you can enjoy shopping, visit Wildlands zoo or the indoor swimming pool Aquarena. Do you prefer peace and quiet and nature? Then Boomkroonpad or Bargerveen are highly recommended. Bargerveen is a unique piece of untouched nature reserve in the Netherlands where living peat still grows. Various cycling and hiking routes start at Boomkroonpad Outdoor Centre. If you want to see the forest from a different perspective, take a walk along the Boomkroonpad. This footpath leads you high up along the tops of the trees. Are you on holiday with the family? Then visit play forest Lorken or Plopsa Indoor Coevoorden.
