There is plenty to discover from Camping La Dolce Vita. Valkenburg is just 6 kilometres away and is perfect for a family day out. Take the cable car up the hill and race back down on the toboggan run, explore the underground world of the marl caves or stroll through the lively town centre together.

Fancy a day surrounded by animals? Visit GaiaZOO in Kerkrade and discover animals from all over the world. Maastricht is another great destination for a day out. Wander through its historic streets, go shopping and stop at a cosy terrace for a slice of traditional Limburg vlaai.

The countryside surrounding the campsite is also well worth exploring. Put on your walking shoes or hop on your bike and follow one of the many routes through the Limburg hills. Along the way, you will pass meadows, forests and charming villages such as Mechelen, Slenaken and Wittem. The area is particularly special for cycling enthusiasts, with several famous climbs from the Amstel Gold Race. Thanks to the campsite's location in South Limburg, you can also easily cross the border during your holiday. A day trip to Aachen in Germany is another great option.

Stay in a safari tent in Ransdaal near Maastricht

At Camping La Dolce Vita, you can stay in a fully equipped safari tent surrounded by the Limburg countryside. There are safari tents for four and five people, making them a great choice for families. You can also choose a safari tent with private sanitary facilities, including a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. This way, you can enjoy the authentic camping atmosphere together while benefiting from the comfort of a fully equipped safari tent.
