There is plenty of fun for the whole family at Camping de Rammelbeek. Take a refreshing swim in the heated indoor pool or enjoy a sunny day at the recreational lake with sandy beach. Children can play in the playgrounds, the indoor play area or visit the petting zoo.

During the school holidays, the enthusiastic entertainment team together with mascot Mel the Ram organises an extensive activity programme for children up to around 12 years old. From crafts and games to sports activities and fun moments with new holiday friends – there is always something going on. In the low and shoulder season, entertainment is organised every Saturday. In June and September the campsite hosts special “Toddler Weeks”, with activities specially adapted for families with very young children.

Sports enthusiasts can also stay active on the campsite with facilities such as a football field, volleyball court and a jeu-de-boules area. Prefer exploring the surroundings? Several cycling and walking routes start near the campsite and lead you through the beautiful Twente countryside. Don’t feel like cooking? Enjoy a meal at the campsite restaurant or grab something tasty from the snack bar.

Camping de Rammelbeek is located in the beautiful Twente landscape and is the perfect base to explore the region. The surrounding area offers scenic nature, winding streams and charming villages. Take a walk in nature reserve Het Springendal, also known as the “Tuscany of the Netherlands”, or visit the picturesque artists’ town of Ootmarsum with its galleries and historic streets. The German border is only a few kilometres away, making a trip across the border very easy.

Families with children will also find plenty of fun days out nearby. Enjoy a day at Attractiepark de Waarbeek, a charming family amusement park, or meet your favourite Studio 100 characters at Plopsa Indoor Coevorden. A visit to Zoo Nordhorn just across the German border is also highly recommended. Adventurous children can climb and explore in Speelbos Het Hulsbeek or ride minibikes at Crossen voor Kidz. During the season, Het Groot Twentsch Maisdoolhof is also a fun and active outing for the whole family.

The campsite has an indoor swimming pool and a lovely recreational lake. There are also a number of safari tents located on the lake. There is a petting zoo and several playgrounds scattered throughout the campsite. There is also an indoor playground for rainy days. For sports and games, you can visit the soccer and volleyball fields, and of course, there is a Jeu de Boules court! Don't feel like cooking? There is a restaurant, and if you prefer to pick up something to go, you can do so at the snack bar. Would you rather get out and about? Rent a bike from the bike rental shop and discover the various junction routes for the most beautiful cycling and walking routes.

Camping de Rammelbeek is located in beautiful Twente. It is completely surrounded by wooded countryside and the most beautiful cycling and walking routes. Furthermore, you can be in Germany within a 10-minute drive!

The town of Ootmarsum is highly recommended. The German border is less than 2 kilometers away. The Singraven estate along the Dinkel river is also definitely worth a visit! The estate is rich in special monumental buildings and a watermill. And if you want a day out, visit Nordhorn Zoo or the special Cosmos observatory.

Certainly! You can take a refreshing dip in the recreational lake or enjoy the indoor swimming pool in cold weather. In the morning from 9:00 to 10:00, the pool is open especially for quiet lap swimming. There is also a toddler spray park where even the little ones can splash around!
