This small but cozy campsite has something for everyone. From four luxury safari tents to a cozy camping spot on the campground.
At Hvalpsund Family Camping, you wake up to a view of the fjord. The children can enjoy themselves all day at the swimming pool, the beach, or the large playground with an air trampoline. After a full day of playing, fishing, or swimming, it's time to pick up a tasty meal from the takeaway restaurant. Discover the underwater world via the underwater trail. When the water is low, you can explore the trails while wearing waders, and at high tide, you can swim, use paddleboards, or transparent kayaks.
Absolutely! There is plenty for children to do at the campsite. There is a fun playground, swimming pool, and the child-friendly beach is within walking distance. You can go fishing, enjoy water sports, and if you prefer to stay dry, there are sports fields where you can play soccer or volleyball.
In the summer, there are group activities such as the “pool disco” and baking snobrød (bread on a stick) by the campfire. The campsite has a focus on the environment: EU Ecolabel. The campsite overlooks the Limfjord. You can go stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking here. There is also a child-friendly beach near the campsite. We highly recommend the underwater trail, where you can learn more about the underwater life in the fjord. The area is known for its hiking and cycling routes, for example to the ferry ‘Mary’ that takes you to the island of Sundøre for a fun day trip.
