At the stream, fish passages and nature-friendly banks have been constructed so that a brook has been created where fish, but also birds such as the kingfisher feel at home. There are also cycle paths around the Slinge, so you can enjoy nature. There are also nice towns in the area such as Beltrum, Borculo, Ruurlo and the fortified city of Groenlo.
