What does Minicamping MiO have to offer?

MiO Minicamping is located on a green hill amidst meadows and fruit trees and above all offers relaxation, peace and space. The spacious pitches are on an open grassy field with enchanting views all around. The campsite has modern sanitary facilities with underfloor heating and a beautiful lounge with a covered terrace. Here you can buy drinks and ice creams and get sandwiches for breakfast or enjoy a full breakfast after registering. Twice a week, Hanna Lehmann cooks the stars in the open kitchen - if you want to participate in a menu evening, a reservation (well in advance) is necessary (www.hanna-lehmann.com).

Discover the Saksen during your glamping stay

The surroundings of MiO mini campsite are interesting for nature lovers as well as city visitors. The European Capital of Culture 2025, Chemnitz, is a ‘stone's throw’ away from the campsite. Other attractions such as Dresden, the Florence on the Elbe and the Bach town of Leipzig are at a pleasant distance. There are numerous hiking trails in the wooded surroundings with lots of natural beauty. The Erzgebirge, the first peaks of which can be seen from the campsite, owes its name to the ores, such as silver, that were once found here. It is a low mountain range with Saxony's highest mountain, the Fichtelberg, at over 1,200 m and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019. At the campsite, you will find plenty of tips and information for excursions.
