Prefer a quieter day? In North Holland, between Hoorn and Enkhuizen, the Noord-Holland Classic Car Festival takes place during the Easter days. Walk through the halls of the exhibition complex in Venhuizen and admire historic vehicles from around the world. Exhibited are vehicles from well-known brands like Chevrolet, Dodge, Pontiac, Honda, Puch, and Zündapp. The years range from 1920 to the 1980s, and the range includes mopeds, classic cars, trucks, and tractors! Heading to the south of the Netherlands, where there are cozy Easter markets in several locations. We highlight the market in the picturesque town of Valkenburg. The market has become a real tradition on Easter Sunday. It’s cozy, which creates a wonderful atmosphere. Stroll leisurely over the Theodoor Dorrenplein and explore the well-stocked stalls. Prefer to stay near the campsite during Easter weekend? Then check out Het Horstmannsbos in Drenthe. There’s plenty to do on and around the campsite. Especially if you love nature, this place is perfect for you. The nature reserve Drouwenerzand borders the campsite, ideal for a lovely bike ride or walk. The children can enjoy themselves on the various playground equipment. Dogs are also welcome, on request and for a small fee, to join the family holiday!
